After spending twelve years in the lab, I embarked on this career armed with a background that allows me to speak the same language as my clients and to continue to learn with each new project. I am always looking for opportunities to translate scientific advances to either broad or specific audiences through science illustration. My multidisciplinary background in chemistry, biochemistry, and cell biology has given me the tools to independently explore creative solutions for communicating science in these fields. I look forward to delving in to a client's science and working with them to conceptualize their ideas. I have worked with scientists from academia, industry, and non-profit biomedical research institutes on a variety of projects including website images, promotional posters, cover art, textbook images, figures for research articles, animations for web and presentations, training materials, research highlights for newsletters, and even illustration of a collection of chemistry poetry.
