cancertherapeutics.v4.jpg

This banner image that I made for a biotech company's website depicts a common phenomenon in cancer cells. The mucin Muc1 gets cleaved near the membrane to enable ligand-induced dimerization that leads to MAPK signaling and uncontrolled growth. The far right panel shows inhibition of this process by the company's product.
